They can also ensure consistency across contracts, which is especially useful for organizations that create multiple contracts with similar terms and conditions. This section will explain everything you need to know about contract templates, types of contracts, how to manage contract templates, as well as SOW country sections.

1. What Are Contract Templates?
Contract templates are pre-designed documents that provide a structure for creating contracts. There are 3 types of contracts that can be created:
- NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement): NDA protects confidential information exchanged between two parties. It lends security to the information you share.
- MSA (Master Service Agreement): MSA establishes a long-term business relationship between two parties. It ensures that you and your vendor are on the same page about terms of collaboration (legal framework).
- SOW (Statement of Work): SOW outlines the specific work that will be performed for a project.
2. Access Contract Templates
- Go to the sidebar and select
Contracts - Click
Contracts Templates - The contract templates will show up
There are 2 main tabs on the payroll instruction page:
- Contract Templates Tab
- SOW Country Sections Tab
3. Contract Templates Tab
3.1. What Is Contract Templates Tab?
Contract Templates Tab is a section that displays all the contract templates. You can create, edit, and archive the contract templates from this tab.
3.2. Create New Contract Templates
- Click
+ New Contract Template - Select “Contract Template Type” (e.g. SOW)
- Set “Contract Template Name” (e.g. Sample SOW)
- Click
Create Template - Clients can use a Word-like interface to create templates
- When creating contracts, you can include variables by entering them into the "Insert Variable" box as an input field (e.g. Contract Date)
- Click
Edit preview datato assign and edit inputs of variable (e.g. Contract Date: 28/02/2023) - Check the template on a preview on the right side
- To publish, click on the up arrow icon
- The new contract will show up in the contract templates table
3.3. Status of Contract Templates
- Published: The template has been published
- Unpublished: The template is still in the making
- Archived: The template is not in use
3.4. Edit Contract Templates
- Click anywhere on the row of the template that you want to edit (e.g. Sample SOW)
- Edit the information as you want
- To publish, click on the up arrow icon
- The template will change accordingly
3.5. Filter Contract Templates
You can choose desirable criteria to filter lists of contract templates that you want to display in the table.
- Click
Filters - Select criteria that you want to filter (e.g. Type)
- Set your criteria (e.g. SOW)
- The filtered values regarding your criteria will show up in the table
The filter can be set and edited from the bar above the table as well.
3.6. Sort Contract Templates
The table can be sorted alphabetically and numerically in descending and ascending order.
- If data in the selected column is alphabetic data, it will be sorted alphabetically
- If data in the selected column is numerical data, it will be sorted numerically
- If data in the selected column is in date format, it will be sorted from newest or oldest
The table can be sorted by one column at a time.
- To sort based on that column, click on the head of a column until you get the desired sort

- The sorted table will show up
3.7. Archive and Unarchive Contract Templates
To archive contract templates:
- Click anywhere on the row of the template that you want to edit (e.g. Sample SOW)
- Click
Archive - The status of the template will change to “Archived”
To unarchive contract templates:
- Click anywhere on the row of the template that you want to edit (e.g. Sample SOW)
- Click
Unarchive - The status of the contract will change to the previous one before archived
4. SOW Country Sections Tab
4.1. What Is SOW Country Sections Tab?
SOW country refers to the country or region where the work is being performed as specified in a Statement of Work (SOW) document. The SOW country is important to ensure that the SOW accurately reflects the legal and regulatory environment in which the work is being performed and to identify any country-specific legal and compliance requirements that need to be addressed in the SOW. You can create, edit, and archive the SOW country sections from this tab.
4.2. Create New SOW Country Sections
- Click
+ New SOW Country Section - Select country (e.g. Japan)
- Click
Create - Clients can use a Word-like interface to create new SOW country section
- Check the template on a preview on the right side
- To publish, click on the up arrow icon
- The new SOW country section will show up in the SOW country sections table
4.3. Edit SOW Country Sections
- Click anywhere on the row of the section that you want to edit (e.g. Sample SOW)
- Edit the information as you want
- To publish, click on the up arrow icon
- The section will change accordingly
4.4. Filter SOW Country Sections
You can choose desirable criteria to filter lists of SOW country sections that you want to display in the table.
- Click
Filters - Select criteria that you want to filter (e.g. Service Country)
- Set your criteria (e.g. Japan)
- The filtered values regarding your criteria will show up in the table

4.5. Sort SOW Country Sections
The table can be sorted alphabetically and numerically in descending and ascending order.
